Surin Beach Phuket is a beautiful 800-meter beach located on the west coast of Phuket, few kilometers north from Kamala. Featuring white sand and glittering turquoise water, Surin Beach Phuket is one of the nicest beaches of the island. It’s a nice spot to relax, chill or watch the sunset.
Surin Beach boasts a great location between two headlands: Laem Singh in the south and Laem Son in the north. The beach attracts Thai elites and the Royal family who love to stay away from the crowds. The former HM the King Bhumibol Adulyadej visited the beach in 1950, and a pavilion has been built in his honor. A nice way to discover the area is to rent a motorbike to explore viewpoints or other surrounding beaches such as Kamala, few kilometers away.
During high season (November to April), Surin beach is a great place for kayaking or snorkeling. The water is very clear and lets you see colorful fishes and corals. You can also rent a kayak and explore the gorgeous “Laem Singh” a private beach only accessible by boat. During low season (May to October), the waves are perfect for those who love surfing, but if you see red flags flying on the beach, do not go in the water. You can rent Surfboards and body boards from local Surf shops along the main road.
If you are hungry, fruits stalls and Thai food vendors are present all along the main road. There are also some high-end restaurants just steps from the beach. For those who prefer to relax and chill, there are also beach massage services. As a conclusion, Surin Beach is suitable for both families and couples, whether you want to relax or enjoy water activities. The beach is only a 6-min walk from Novotel Phuket Surin.
